Mechanical contracting means taking responsibility for a building's heating, cooling, ventilation, piping and mechanical automation systems under a single contract, from initial survey through to commissioning. Based in Ankara, Haustech Mekanik acts as a single point of contact for survey, design, material supply, installation, testing and commissioning in both new buildings and operating facilities.
One contract, one responsibility
Splitting mechanical work is the most common cause of delay and cost overrun on projects: one company supplies the equipment, another installs it, and when commissioning goes wrong responsibility circulates between the parties. Haustech consolidates that chain in one place.
Because we select, supply and install the equipment ourselves, no information is lost between specification and execution. Decisions such as valve characteristic, actuator force or pump duty point are made against real site conditions rather than staying on paper.
New build versus existing facility
In new buildings, mechanical contracting means coordination with architecture and structure, route planning and installation sequencing. In existing facilities it means working without stopping operations, building temporary lines and planning shutdown windows to the minute.
Haustech works in both scenarios. For work carried out in an operating facility, the shutdown plan, temporary supply and rollback scenario are defined in writing at contract stage.
Project management and handover
Every project has one technical point of contact, a defined programme and measurable handover criteria. On completion of testing and commissioning we hand over pressure test records, balancing reports, an equipment schedule and operating instructions.

Frequently asked
Do you take on installation-only mechanical contracts?
Yes. Where the design and equipment are already in place we can work on an installation, testing and commissioning basis only. In that case we review the existing equipment selections technically before starting and report any mismatch in writing.
Can you work in an operating facility without shutting it down?
Yes — most of our retrofit work is carried out in operating facilities. Where a shutdown is unavoidable we plan temporary lines, by-passes or out-of-hours working, and the outage duration is committed in the contract.
What project sizes do you take on?
We work across scales, from commercial buildings and industrial facilities to residential projects and existing operations. A single boiler room retrofit and the complete mechanical installation of a multi-block development both fall within our scope.
